Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking energetic Automotive General Service Technicians / Mechanics at our Holland, MI location. You will perform maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections, and work closely with a team to ensure guest vehicles are serviced promptly and correctly.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; high school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must have a current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and more.
• Perform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulations.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Ensure preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations.
• Assist in housekeeping functions as directed by management.
• Communicate the extent of damage or malfunctions to the guest’s vehicle.
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
