Lead Automation Tester - Hands-On - Remote

• Full-time

Tech Lead - work remote - Hands-on Automated Tester. Must have experience with scripting and the ability to automate & write queries from scratch.

Must understand Automation and the automation process.

Experience with databases is required (must be able to write SQL statements). Understanding how data is transferred from one system to another is essential. Hands-on SQL Testing is required.

Must be able to write Test Plans and Test Cases.

Will follow Agile/Scrum practices.

Excellent written and communication skills are a must, as this position interfaces with everyone in the company.

Client is using Selenium - willingness to learn if not already familiar.

5+ years of hands-on software testing experience is required.

Strong knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of experience using Automation tools such as Selenium and QTP (including automation of back-end testing).

Hands-on experience building and executing complex SQL queries for testing purposes is necessary.

Knowledge of SDLC and a clear understanding of the role of testing is essential.

Hands-on experience with SCRUM Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid testing methodologies, including practical knowledge of applying these methodologies to daily operations and projects, is a huge plus.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused, dynamic environment with minimal supervision is required.

Proven ability to scale testing approaches to meet demand.

Strong communication skills are essential.

Experience testing mobile apps is a plus.

Experience with tools such as Quality Center, Jira, Rally, Daptiv, etc. is a plus.
