Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Automation Tester to drive automation strategy and quality across a complex AAA game development lifecycle. You will lead a small specialist team, partner closely with engineers, and expand automated test coverage.

Responsibilities include defining test plans, maintaining test suites, executing regressions, and mentoring the QA team. Strong C++, Appium, Selenium, and JUnit skills are essential, with experience in Unreal Engine and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing.
• 3+ years of automated testing and/or scripting.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in test planning, QA best practices, and mentorship.
• Proficiency in C++ and hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and JUnit.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies and plans across the development lifecycle.
• Lead automation strategy and prioritise technical test objectives.
• Maintain and expand automated test suites and frameworks.
• Execute regression cycles and coordinate targeted manual playthroughs when needed.
• Investigate complex issues with engineers to speed up resolution.
