Job summary
Producers Midstream Management LLC is seeking an Automation Supervisor to lead our automation, instrumentation, electrical, and control systems across natural gas gathering systems, compressor stations, and facilities. The role involves supervising Automation Technicians and providing technical direction for PLCs, instrumentation, and related equipment.
The successful candidate will reside within ~1.5 hours of the Hobbs plant in New Mexico or relocate as required, coordinating with Operations,
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
- 5+ years in automation/instrumentation, ideally in oil & gas or midstream.
- Experience leading technicians and coordinating maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Automation Technicians and provide technical directions.
- Coordinate daily work, priorities, and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, electrical systems, and control logic.
- Review and troubleshoot PLC programming and ladder logic (GE/AB).
- Support installation, commissioning, startup, and modifications of automation systems.
- Respond to alarms and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime.
