Job summary

Quality Electrodynamics, LLC seeks a Technical Lead for Automated Inspection & Robotics to drive company-wide automation initiatives. You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and IT to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions that improve product quality and efficiency.

Lead strategy, design, validation and deployment of inspection systems, robotics and AI-driven workflows, ensuring regulatory and cybersecurity compliance while expanding capabilities across operations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years related manufacturing engineering experience.
• Process control expertise across value stream, flow and control plans.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.
• Experience collaborating with Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with MS365, Teams, PLM, ERP and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of automated inspection, machine vision and robotics across operations.
• Develop and execute technical strategy, roadmaps and architecture for automation.
• Direct cross-functional teams through design, validation and deployment.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to select best-fit solutions.
• Standardize machine vision, robotic integration, data collection and connectivity.
• Define requirements with Engineering, Quality, IT and Manufacturing for scalable solutions.
• Manage technical risk and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Foster external partner relationships for development and maintenance.
• Communicate NPIs alignment and ROI metrics for automation initiatives.
• Expand robotics, AI and automatic inspection across the company.
