Job summary

PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH, via PepsiCo 1NA Engineering, is seeking a technical project manager to lead Multipack Automation productivity, and maintenance projects in Plano, TX. You will scope, design, install, and start up automation projects and lead cross-functional teams.

This role requires a strong engineering background, ability to manage risks, and collaboration with outside contractors. Expect 25–40% travel and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; CAD skills preferred.
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple deliverables.
• Established record of project definition and execution.
• Understanding of warehouse and material handling automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping and design recommendations for Multipack Automation projects.
• Support installation and start-up activities for new Multipack Automation projects.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional teams of colleagues and outside resources.
• Apply engineering principles to problem solving and managing changes.
• Manage, communicate and mitigate project risks.
• Develop and execute equipment installation and start-up plans with contractors and vendors.
• Travel up to 40% as required.
• Partner with OEMs to improve equipment design offerings, upgrades, training, and maintenance.
