Job summary

Price Benowitz, LLP is seeking a Senior Automation & Integrations Developer to independently own complex automation initiatives from requirements through deployment and optimization. This hands-on senior role focuses on accounting and financial automations, including QuickBooks Online and data synchronization across internal systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development or integration experience.
• At least 3 years designing and developing production automations and integrations.
• Experience owning technical projects from concept to deployment.
• Strong REST APIs and webhooks experience.
• Python or JavaScript proficiency.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Make, n8n, Zapier, Power Automate, Workato.
• SQL knowledge and data structures.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and communicate to non-technical stakeholders.
• B2+ English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own automation and integration projects from requirements to deployment.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop integrations between SaaS apps using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Architect reliable workflows with validation, retries, logging, and data integrity.
• Build and maintain QuickBooks Online integrations and financial data sync.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and development best practices.
