Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead complex automation and system integration projects in the Life Sciences and manufacturing sectors. You will guide a diverse team through concept, design engineering, testing, startup and training of operators and maintenance personnel.

Candidates should have a BS in Engineering and 8–10 years of hands-on experience with process automation, GMP requirements, and Rockwell/SCADA tooling. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in automation projects for process plants.
• Experience with GMP, controls design and facility start-up.
• Proficient in Rockwell, Ignition, and modern PLC/HMI/SCADA tech.
• Strong understanding of batch/DCS and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams for design, configuration, and testing of control applications.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and financials; coordinate workstreams.
• Provide technical guidance and customer advisory throughout design, start-up and commissioning.
• Travel to client sites as needed to support design, development, and start-up of control systems.
• Develop and qualify control system applications including PLC, HMI, and SCADA configurations.
