Job summary

Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience (or equivalent), PLC/HMI/VFD programming, robotics experience, and a US Secret clearance on day one are required. Travel up to 25% to L3Harris sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of related experience; or 13+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years integrating automation systems with business/manufacturing systems.
• 2+ years designing/sustaining automation systems with robotic cells and vision/motion control.
• 2+ years programming PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, etc.
• 2+ years writing statements of work and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain custom automation and robotics systems.
• Analyze production processes to identify improvements and reduce costs.
• Design and implement manufacturing tech to optimize throughput.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity in operations.
• Collaborate on standards, time studies, and ergonomic analyses.
• Monitor process performance and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams; support product introduction and equipment validation.
