Job summary
Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Robbinsville, NJ is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation control systems for industrial processes and warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices.
You will mentor apprentices, lead troubleshooting, optimize MHE systems, and collaborate with operations, engineering and support teams to deliver projects on time and safely, while documenting work and complying with
Qualifications
- 4-year degree or knowledge equivalent to a 4-year degree.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor automation engineers.
- Proficiency with CMMS and coordinating maintenance with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong English communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and optimize control systems and software.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and networks.
- Lead documentation and Automation Change Management procedures.
- Mentor apprentices and collaborate with operations.
- Support remote and on-site troubleshooting and project delivery.
