Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Automotive Upholstery Technician / Trimmer for a full-time Arlington, WA position with $30.00-$45.00 per hour DOE. The role involves leading an upholstery department on high-end restoration and custom interior projects.

The ideal candidate will complete interiors from start to finish, read work orders, and maintain top craftsmanship with strong customer communication. Monday–Friday schedule, evaluation hire.

Qualifications

• Automotive upholstery experience is required.
• Ability to complete full automotive interiors independently.
• Experience with automotive sewing and fabrication.
• Experience installing headliners and convertible tops.
• Ability to perform upholstery repairs and custom interior work.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to read work orders and manage projects efficiently.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete full automotive interior installations and replacements.
• Perform upholstery repairs and interior restorations.
• Install seat covers, carpets, door panels, and trim components.
• Fabricate and install custom interior components.
• Install and replace headliners.
• Install and repair convertible tops.
• Operate industrial sewing equipment.
• Assist with estimating and bidding upholstery projects.
• Order upholstery materials and supplies.
• Communicate with customers regarding project scope and options.
• Manage workflow and daily operations within the upholstery department.
