Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lead Automotive Technician in Minnesota to diagnose and repair vehicles per MAP guidelines and dealership standards. You will mentor team members and ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role requires ASE certifications or equivalent experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to work 5 days a week, including weekends. Compensation can reach up to $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized diagnostics equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to work 5 days per week, weekends included.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles per certification/experience level.
• Perform work outlined on inspection/repair orders with accuracy.
• Perform complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to managers, service consultants, and customers.
• Recommend necessary services and document actions in customer file.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
