Job summary

CFS is seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead financial statement engagements in a flexible, hybrid environment in Atlanta. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership without direct reports, partnering with client contacts and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in public accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA or candidate status, and strong analytical and communication skills. Travel within the Atlanta metro area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager or CaseWare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform financial statement engagements from planning through completion.
• Act as a key client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Mentor and support junior staff through guidance and on-the-job training.
• Develop an understanding of client operations to enhance audit procedures.
• Prepare and review working papers and financial statements.
• Perform analytical procedures and evaluate financial data.
• Communicate progress and issues with engagement leadership.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Apply feedback to improve efficiency and audit quality.
• Travel to client sites within the Atlanta Metro area as needed.
