WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Lead AV Field Technician, you will be leading a team of AV Technicians on Installation Projects. Working as part of the EOS team providing AV solutions and services on site interfacing with the designated client in line with the customer requirements and service level agreement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the Installation and de-installation of AV/Telepresence products
  2. Configuration of endpoints and infrastructure
  3. Preparation of room audits ensuring technology can work at optimum level
  4. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and room is ready for use
  5. Identify defective/failed equipment and provide solutions
  6. Complete Post Installation Assessments
  7. Perform on site User Acceptance testing
  8. Install software upgrades
  9. Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide solutions for ongoing faults
  10. Communicate with management team throughout the day, as it relates to assignments
  11. Project reporting and updating
  12. Document and report hardware failures; manage Break/Fix and RMA requests as needed
  13. Supervise, instruct and help with rack building processes
  14. Travel to customer sites nationally as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  1. Must have experience leading teams of AV Technicians or Engineers
  2. Experience Terminating, Configuring and Programming at least one of the following types of equipment: Extron, Cisco, Crestron and/or AMX
  3. Must be able to read and understand plans to ensure everything is done correctly and then do any additional configuration that is required
  4. Must have similar experience working on AV/ VC integrations
  5. Must be agile, and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
  6. Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction, and exhibit a high level of professionalism
  7. The ideal candidate will not find difficult tech problems deterring or frustrating, but intriguing and will welcome the challenge
  8. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under immense pressure. The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination
  9. Must be engaged in the process of technical development
  10. Be eligible, willing and able to work and travel globally when required
  11. Responsible and reliable, capable of working alone as well as part of a team
  12. Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  13. Good written and verbal communication skills
  14. Must have critical thinking and problem solving ability
  15. Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customer
  16. Be a motivated team player
