Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Attorney, Injury to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space.

This role is centered on plaintiff-side personal injury work, combining direct client representation with leadership over case strategy and legal operations. The attorney will guide matters through negotiation, mediation, and trial while helping shape efficient processes that support strong client outcomes. This position also partners cross-functionally to improve client-facing outreach, service standards, and team performance in a fast-moving environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $170,000 – $230,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Directly represent clients in pre-litigation negotiation, mediation, or trial
• Select and strategize on cases to take on, managing legal operations end-to-end
• Collaborate with marketing to enhance client-facing branding and differentiate the firm
• Set operational standards for after-hours phone support with the product team
• Manage a team of attorneys and non-attorney professionals for efficient case handling

Qualifications

• Deep personal injury experience at a plaintiff's firm, ideally with motor vehicle accidents and premises liability
• Experience representing clients through every stage of a case, including trial
• Understanding of legal operations in a plaintiff's firm, with innovative ideas for improvement
• Supervisory experience over non-attorney professionals in intake and case management
• Resourceful team player suited for a startup environment
• Demonstrated commitment to helping people and social good
• California-based with a license to practice law in California
