Lead Atlassian Apps Architect (React, Typescript, Terraform)

Join our team as a Lead Atlassian Apps Architect & Engineering Manager at Modus Create. We are seeking an experienced leader to partner with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and leadership.

About You:

• Proven experience leading engineering teams (e.g., 3+ years as EM or Tech Lead)
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong knowledge of React, Typescript, Terraform
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Track record of shipping complex software projects

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor engineering teams, supporting career development
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to define priorities
• Drive engineering execution including sprint planning, code reviews, and quality assurance
• Foster a team culture emphasizing ownership and accountability
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability
• Resolve technical challenges and unblock progress
• Align engineering initiatives with company goals
• Own incident response and improve engineering operations

Bonus Points:

• Experience in fast-paced small teams
• Experience with DevOps, serverless architecture, data architectures
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
