Job summary

Mississippi State University is seeking an Athletic Trainer to supervise and provide athletic training services for the Tennis and Golf programs in Starkville. Qualifications

BOC certification and Mississippi state licensure required.
Bachelor of Science in a related field is required.
Minimum one year of experience in a Division I athletic program as staff or GA athletic trainer.
Must supervise athletic training fellows and student trainers.

Responsibilities

Oversee athletic training needs for Tennis and Golf; provide direct team coverage.
Assist in day-to-day operations of the athletic training room and ensure proper use of facilities.
Serve as liaison between student-athletes and team physicians; ensure compliance with instructions.
Maintain continuing education to satisfy state/BOC maintenance requirements.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including strength/conditioning, sports nutrition, and psychology.
