Cognito Systems, a joint venture serving the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness program, seeks a Lead Athletic Trainer to lead frontline ATC tasks at Fort Stewart in Hinesville, GA.

You will act as Brigade Lead Athletic Trainer, coordinating with Brigade teams to deliver acute care, injury prevention and performance optimization for Soldiers. You will ensure education, guidance and documentation are aligned with the Brigade training calendar and program goals, while reporting to senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from CAATE accredited program.
• Master’s degree in related field (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine).
• BOC certification and ability to practice in scope.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Brigade Athletic Trainer and principal advisor on injury control, acute care, reconditioning and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with Brigade H2F Strength and Conditioning team and other stakeholders to support training programs.
• Ensure AT scope of practice aligns with Brigade training calendar and leadership.
• Develop and present AT overview briefs for in-processing Soldiers and Brigade leadership.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and tracking of supplies; report deficiencies.

CAATE-accredited Bachelor’s degree

Master’s degree in Exercise Science / Kinesiology / Sports Medicine
