Responsibilities

• Supervise an investigations manager and a paralegal in the Data Privacy & Identity Theft Unit.
• Assign cases, oversee litigation strategy and prosecute privacy/identity theft matters.
• Review requests for settlement authority and direct negotiation.
• Provide training and mentoring to unit staff.
• Coordinate with courts, consumers, and other agencies; monitor legislation and policies.
