ANGEHEUERT GmbH is seeking a Lead Architect & Platform Engineer to build modern cloud and platform architecture from the ground up. You will shape standards, integration patterns, and technical guidelines for a scalable, secure environment.

You will design landing zones, networks, identity concepts, and governance while developing CI/CD standards and IaC. A strong focus on data, AI, and API integration will guide the architecture decisions in a global, highly automated setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in IT.
• Multiple years as a Solution/Cloud/Enterprise Architect in complex IT environments.
• Azure knowledge and cloud architecture experience, preferably Azure.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, CI/CD, IaC, and modern platforms.
• Experience in financial environments such as banking, insurance, investment.

Responsibilities

• Develop the target cloud architecture, microservices, data layers, and AI services.
• Design landing zones, networks, identity concepts, and governance structures.
• Define CI/CD standards, release strategies, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Define architecture and integration patterns for APIs, events, and batch interfaces.
• Incorporate security, monitoring, resilience, high availability, and regulatory requirements.
• Translate data and AI strategies into architecture components and integration patterns.
• Provide technical sparring and guidance to Development, Infrastructure, Security, and business teams.

• Architecture: Develop the target cloud architecture as well as microservices, data layers, and AI services.

• Cloud Platform: Design landing zones, networks, identity concepts, and governance structures.

• DevOps: Develop standards for CI/CD, release strategies, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Integration: Define architecture and integration patterns for APIs, events, and batch interfaces.

• Security: Incorporate security, monitoring, resilience, high availability, and regulatory requirements into the architecture.

• Data & AI: Translate data and AI strategies into concrete architecture components and integration patterns.

• Technical Sparring: Support Development, Infrastructure, Security, and business teams with technical decisions.

Your profile

• Education: A completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification provides the foundation for this role.

• Architecture: Several years of experience as a Solution, Cloud, or Enterprise Architect in complex IT environments.

• Hands on: Practical programming experience and a strong technical understanding are essential.

• Cloud: Very good knowledge of modern cloud, network, and identity architectures, ideally complemented by Azure experience.

• Technology: Experience with microservices, APIs, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and modern platform architectures.

• Industry: Experience in banking, insurance, investment, or a comparable financial environment, combined with experience in modern cloud or SaaS environments.

• Communication: Excellent English skills and the ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly and effectively.
