Works closely with business and technology leadership to establish an architectural framework and facilitate the definition of integration strategy, standards, policies and roadmaps. Provides cross‑cutting integration architecture coverage across the Xtime portfolio and its net‑new delivery teams, partnering with the portfolio’s Principal Architect and the Data, Reporting & Catalog Architect to maintain a coherent architectural direction.
Primary Responsibilities

- Play a leading role in the integration domain, offering support and technical advice to ensure alignment across company structures and systems.
- Drive the architecture and integration patterns for OEM and partner connections (e.g., UVEye), including partner certification and onboarding.
- Own the DMS surface integration layer across DT, TDK and Reynolds, defining reusable patterns for Xtime teams.
- Support the External Integrations portfolio—OEM partnership and certification expansion, manufacturer implementation programs, and third‑party device/provider integrations.
- Define integration standards, contracts, and interface specifications, and lead the associated working groups.
- Actively drive the definition of engineering standards and technologies/frameworks for integration, leading associated working groups.
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technology, information management, product development, and infrastructure problems.
- Partner with supported teams/organizations to manage rollout schedules and technology/architectural releases, ensuring business needs are supported in all phases.
- Recommend improvements to technology and processes that increase organizational effectiveness.
- Provide systems architecture advice and consultation across major integration program and solution initiatives.
- Offer guidance on technical aspects of infrastructure systems development and integration to ensure strategies, roadmaps, policies, standards, and practices are properly aligned.
- Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocating responsibilities, understanding solution deployment, and communicating requirements for interactions with the overall solution context.
- Play a crucial role in pre‑ and post‑program increment planning.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners, ensuring technical expectations are understood and achieved.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 6 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 4 years, or a Ph.D. with 1 year, or 18 years of experience with no degree.
- 10+ years of experience designing reference architectures, architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event‑driven architecture), and integration standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, API Gateways).
- Proven experience in multi‑cloud strategies, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and hybrid cloud security.
- Expertise in cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- 5+ years of architecture delivery and storytelling, conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including business and technology leadership.
- 5+ years of creating and communicating strategies, capabilities, and solutions using architecture models, reference architectures, frameworks, diagrams, and viewpoints.
- Demonstrated enterprise‑scale platform implementation experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams and driving large‑scale platform initiatives.
