JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Regional Cultural Resources Identification Field Guide (Lead Archaeologist (Historic Emphasis)) in the Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, and Hunting Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Farm Production and Conservation Business Center (FPAC).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The Lead Archaeologist (Historic Emphasis) focuses on the identification and documentation of historic cultural resources, including structures, artifacts, and features from more recent periods. This role involves extensive research and analysis to accurately depict historical resources in the field guides, ensuring compliance with relevant cultural resource management regulations.

Education: Master’s degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in historical archaeology, meeting Secretary of the Interior qualifications.
