Job summary

The F. A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader in Hilton Head Island, SC to lead a tree care crew and perform services safely and efficiently, mentoring teammates and maintaining high-quality work.

Candidates should have at least three years of tree climbing and aerial lift experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to outdoor work in all weather. Bartlett offers a safety-first culture, comprehensive benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all arboriculture tasks.
• Pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals.
• Maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Leading and training crew members for each job assignment.
• Ensuring work complies with industry and company standards.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships.
