Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Six (6) years of experience in applications development activities.
• Experience with Java 8, Core Java, Spring, caching frameworks and RESTful web services including XML and JSON.
• Experience with MQ and Kafka messaging.
• Experience with source code management tools including Git or Bitbucket.
• Experience with scheduling tools to run scripts to process/load from various data sources.
• Experience with code quality measurements using Sonar and implementing tests.
• SME in a functional domain development area.
• Adherence to architecture blueprint and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Provide expert programming knowledge aligned with architecture blueprints.
• Collaborate with management to integrate functions and identify system enhancements for new products and processes.
• Evaluate complex processes and deliver innovative solutions.
• Assess risk in line with company policy.
• Support cross-functional integration for successful product deployments.
• Provide technical guidance to mid-level developers (non-supervisory).
• Telecommuting/hybrid work may be permitted within policy.
