Job summary

You will work with hydrologic modelers, data scientists, and engineers while delivering well-designed features as an individual contributor and providing task-level leadership.

You will work with C#/ASP.NET (MVC/Core), SQL Server, and React.js, mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• B.S./B.A. from an accredited university is a plus.
• Experience with full-stack web development and modern frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers application features in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
• Participates in technical planning with guidance from senior staff.
• Provides task-level leadership by owning small features and coordinating day-to-day execution.
• Contributes to code reviews and upholds coding standards.
• Mentors junior developers and interns through pair programming and code reviews.
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners to clarify requirements and communicate tradeoffs.
• Builds and enhances software using diverse technologies; develops data visualization front-ends.
• Works with datasets to support analysis and application functionality.
• Supports testing, debugging, and production support activities.
