Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Application Security Engineer to design and implement secure network and application security solutions for national security missions.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement Zero Trust controls, and work with next-generation firewalls and application delivery tools to secure critical systems. Requires DoD experience and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing Zero Trust compliant application and network security services and controls.
• 5+ years of experience with next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Versa, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper).
• 5+ years of experience with application delivery products (F5, Nginx, A10, NetScaler).
• Experience with host-based micro-segmentation solutions such as ColorTokens or Illumio.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across various technologies and environments.
• Experience with DoD enterprise networks, including DMZ and application security.
• Secret clearance and HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to improve security and availability.
• Analyze and optimize client networks to meet security standards and DoD requirements.
