Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a Lead Application Engineer to design, implement, and sustain the DOW logistics application. You will lead development, ensure system performance, and guide coding standards as you collaborate with QA, DevSecOps, and system engineers for reliable releases.

Requirements include an active DoD Secret Clearance and 5+ years in software development, with strong Java, JavaScript, and SQL skills. Bachelor's degree and DoD-related experience are preferred.

North Stone is seeking a Lead Application Engineer to support development and sustainment of the DOW logistics application. The Lead Application Engineer will serve as the primary developer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining application features while guiding development standards and ensuring system performance and reliability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• - Design, develop, and maintain application components using Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• - Provide technical leadership and code guidance to the development team.
• - Participate in system design discussions and architecture reviews.
• - Develop and maintain application integrations and backend services.
• - Troubleshoot application issues and implement performance improvements.

Required Qualifications

• - Ability to obtain and maintain Privileged and SIPR access.

• - Experience supporting enterprise application development and sustainment.
• - Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• - Experience supporting DoW or USAF Cloud One cloud environments.
• - Experience with modern web frameworks and microservices architecture.
• - Familiarity with cloud-based application environments.
• - Experience supporting DevSecOps development pipelines.
