Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Production Artist to join our design team in Beaverton to bring athletic apparel graphics to life, ensuring production-ready files and precise details for high-visibility products.

You will lead production art, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply 2D/3D tools to finalize graphics across product levels, maintaining strict standards and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a design and/or production art environment, specifically for apparel.
• Proven experience with licensed apparel, visual systems, and micro branding.
• Strong portfolio showing licensed products with technical schematics for logos and trims, and evidence of process ownership.
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced understanding of graphic applications, including ink types and trim substrates.
• Understanding of the product lifecycle and key deliverables.
• Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead peers in adopting new tools and ways of working.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining collaboration.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production-ready files for apparel with flawless precision.
• Create detailed graphic schematics adhering to brand standards.
• Serve as the go-to production art resource, lead within categories, attend meetings, and track action items.
• Coach peers in adopting new tools and efficient workflows.
• Manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Product Management, Technical Development, and Material Development.
• Use 2D and 3D tools to finalize graphic details across product levels.
• Create documentation for downstream partners and review strike-offs.
• Maintain updates on all files through final approval.
• Advocate for efficiencies in the product creation lifecycle.

Education

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
