Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the safe and efficient production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) on a dedicated B shift, with emphasis on cGMP compliance.

You will supervise, train and coach staff, manage batch records and SOPs, coordinate cross‑department tech transfers, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring quality and regulatory adherence across all operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering or Life Science.
• 2+ years of work experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• 2+ years of manager/supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate staff; lead shifts to meet deadlines and enforce expectations.
• Maintain safe, clean work environments and model professional behavior.
• Ensure cGMP documentation accuracy, interpret in-process data, and review batch records.
