TIPTON ASSET GROUP is seeking aLead Maintenance Technician for a 264-unit property in Dallas, TX. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee daily operations, respond to resident needs, and ensure preventative maintenance meets company standards.

Requirements include 3–4 years of apartment maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and personal hand tools. Candidates must be capable of on-call duties and maintain professional communication with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Minimum 3–4 years in apartment maintenance or related field.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Ability to diagnose problems and prioritize repairs effectively.
• Must provide and maintain basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team in daily work and property upkeep.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and building systems.
• Perform grounds work and maintain property appearance.
• Conduct property and equipment inspections for safety and maintenance needs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Respond to resident maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours emergencies.
