Winixx Inc. is hiring a Senior AOSP Security Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

You will harden WinixxOS at the system level, owning security architecture decisions for a platform built from the ground up—emphasizing payment-grade security for POS devices and sandboxing across phones and wearables. The role demands 5+ years in platform/mobile security with direct AOSP experience and strong SELinux/Android permissions expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform/mobile security engineering with AOSP experience.
• Deep knowledge of SELinux policy and Android permissions.
• Experience with secure boot, TEE, and sandboxing models.

Responsibilities

• Design platform security architecture for the AOSP fork powering WinixxOS.
• Harden app sandboxing, permissions architecture, and IPC boundaries.
• Own secure boot, verified boot chain, and TEEs integration.
• Lead PCI-DSS security hardening for the POS device class.
• Conduct security reviews of system services, HAL, and kernel changes.
• Develop and enforce SELinux policy across the platform.
• Collaborate to ensure security across SDK surfaces.
• Respond to and remediate security vulnerabilities pre- and post-launch.
