Job summary

AOIA in Kansas seeks a BE/BC Anesthesiologist for a 33-bed community hospital in central Kansas, with an avenue toward Medical Director.

You will run your own room and lead the service line, working with one anesthesiologist and two highly qualified CRNAs. The case mix includes regional blocks, ortho, general, OB, ophthalmology and podiatry, with an optional outpatient pain clinic up to 2 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Interest in leadership for Medical Director track.

Responsibilities

• Run your own anesthesia room and lead the service line.
• Collaborate with one other anesthesiologist and two CRNAs.
• Perform regional blocks and a mix of ortho, general, OB, ophthalmology, podiatry cases.
• Optionally oversee an outpatient pain clinic up to 2 days per week.
• Work with EPIC EMR and participate in 1:4 call, with limited late shifts.
