Candidates must possess an M.D./D.O. degree, ECFMG and FLEX certification, and complete an approved residency in anesthesia. Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification required.
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Responsible for medical management of patients during surgery.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments.
• Obtain and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
• Induce, maintain, and manage anesthesia.
• Monitor patients' physiological condition.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.
