Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of Anesthesia Technician experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of anesthesia procedures, pharmacology, and patient monitoring techniques.
• Strong infection control protocols and safety practices in the OR.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multitasking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented with accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the anesthesia care team to prepare and set up equipment and supplies for anesthesia.
• Assist in patient positioning, monitoring vital signs, and administering anesthesia-related interventions as directed.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia workstations, including anesthesia machines, monitors, ventilators, and equipment.
• Ensure equipment availability, functionality, calibration, and troubleshoot issues during procedures.
• Work closely with OR staff, surgeons, and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records related to room marking, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
