Job summary

Google's Android XR team is seeking an AI Technical Lead for Application Compatibility to drive automated testing and ensure Android XR apps run seamlessly on multiple devices. This role is based in San Jose, CA, with collaboration across Google’s XR and Android platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of software development experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Go, Java, Python, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Help design/scale/deliver/lead an automated application evaluation framework for XR apps and automated regression detectors to verify OS-level compatibility.
• Participate in the architectural design and implementation of a unified automated application runner for Android XR AppCompat.
• Build scalable application execution frameworks that run on physical devices, emulators, and cloud-hosted environments.
• Partner with Android and Android XR platform teams to develop new capabilities to improve XR application experiences.
