Job summary

Qualifications

• Several years of quantitative analysis experience in power markets.
• Understanding of day-ahead, intraday, ancillary services, capacity, and local flexibility markets.
• Experience in technical leadership or readiness for team leadership.
• Ability to explain quantitative conclusions to executives and stakeholders.
• Business-fluent English; German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own short- and long-term price and renewable generation forecasting across horizons.
• Develop analytical models and forecasting tools for electricity and renewable markets.
• Quantitatively assess market trends, regulatory changes, new markets and product opportunities.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately five to seven analysts and data scientists.
• Partner with trading, portfolio management, pricing, sales, and product stakeholders to turn analysis into useful products and services.
• Own the risk framework, including limits, exposure monitoring, scenario and stress testing, and reporting to trading and executive leadership.
