Job summary

REV Renewables in Houston seeks a leader to own and evolve the Energy Management Systems platform, combining architecture, data engineering, and operations for a front-office trading environment serving PJM/CAISO/ISONE.

You will mentor a team, set standards, and ensure secure, compliant delivery while enabling users from no-code dashboards to quant developers to build robust analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of hands-on ownership of core platform and ETRM components.
• Strong Python proficiency and time-series data handling.
• Security, access controls, and compliance knowledge in energy trading.
• Ability to translate front-office needs to IT/infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and direct the Quant and Systems Developer; manage backlog and standards.
• Own the integrity of the ETRM platform as an active contributor; design and maintain core components.
• Review production changes, validate logic, and ensure test coverage.
• Enforce security, change management, and audit-trail requirements; ensure incident response readiness.
