Job summary

FST Technical Services in Durham, NC is seeking a Lead Analytical Test Technician to join our life science team. This position involves regular overnight travel, but you will be home most weekends, and it offers strong career growth opportunities as the company expands.

You will perform QA testing on Manufacturing Facility Processing Equipment and Systems handling liquids, gases, chemicals and solvents, operating moisture, oxygen, particulates, TOC, resistivity, and helium leak testing.

Qualifications

Solid mechanical aptitude and desire to grow into a career.
Strong background testing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing process equipment.
Tech school training is a big plus, but hands-on experience in technical trade is viable training.
Additional consideration will be given for Military training and/or technical training experience.
Reliability is of high importance and attention to detail is expected.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen and background check is a MUST.

Responsibilities

Perform QA testing of Manufacturing Facility Processing Equipment and Systems supporting liquids, gases, chemicals and solvents in a Manufacturing environment.
Operate conventional analytical testing equipment including: Moisture, Oxygen, Particulate, TOC, Resistivity contamination and Helium Leak detection.
Assist the Customer in identifying and solving quality problems and perform all necessary and assigned tasks.
Participate in Pre-Planning and Site-Specific Programs.
Troubleshoot technical issues and quality contamination discrepancies and have the ability to plan, schedule, execute and report data in a professional manner.
