Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Technical Chemist to support analytical laboratory operations, quality initiatives, and development of new testing capabilities. The role leads analytical projects, supports instrument qualification, and maintains LIMS.

The position requires hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a cGMP environment. The anticipated salary is between $95,000 and $125,000 plus bonus, with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, dental/vision, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years analytical lab experience with instrument qualification IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Experience in a cGMP environment (food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or related industries).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Lean principles and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Knowledge of statistics and data interpretation.
• Experience with MS Project, Visio, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop new analytical capabilities and improve methods.
• Coordinate IQ/OQ/PQ qualification activities for lab instruments.
• Maintain lab equipment maintenance, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Manage service contracts and maintain documentation.
• Oversee method validation and OpenLab LIMS usage.
• Perform complex analytical testing requiring hands-on lab work.
• Support root cause investigations related to quality issues.
