Job summary

GXO Logistics Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking a Lead Analyst, Supply Chain Systems to analyze client requirements, design fit-for-purpose solutions, and support implementations at Clayton, IN.

You will develop implementation plans, configure systems, train users and provide post-implementation support across distribution and operations centers. The role requires 4+ years in logistics analysis or related fields, strong SQL/data-analysis skills, and experience with WMS/TMS, web-based systems, and OO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or closely related degree.
• 4 years of experience as a Logistics Analyst, Operations Analyst (Supply Chain/Logistics focus), or Business Systems Analyst.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) development and implementation.
• Experience with SQL for data analysis, extraction, troubleshooting and reporting.
• Experience with client/server, relational databases, web-based systems, and OO design.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the business development process to analyze client requirements, determine fit and customizations.
• Create proposals, gather supporting data for cost estimates and present GXO’s capabilities and solutions to prospective clients.
• Support project manager during system implementations/upgrades and provide continuing support.
• Develop documented implementation plans, configure systems, train users and provide post-implementation support.
• Create detailed functional specifications for modifications, defect corrections, enhancements and user documentation.
• Perform process and data modeling; perform integrated quality assurance testing on system changes before they are released to key users.
• Work creatively with end users to perform user acceptance testing on system changes before they are released to the field.
• Deliver training to power users on system use; provide system configuration site support to distribution centers and operations center.
• Provide support to resolve data-related problems with logistics information systems.
• Travel required. Frequency: 10%, Area: North Carolina, Scope: Occasional trip to company headquarters in North Carolina for team meetings and/or special projects.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or closely related degree and 4 years of experience as a Logistics Analyst, Operations Analyst (Supply Chain/Logistics focus), Business Systems Analyst.

Experience must include four (4) Years of experience in all of the below:

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) development and implementation.
• Implementation and support experience with web-based applications, WMS, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and small parcel shipment systems.
• Experience in one of the following business disciplines: supply chain management, warehousing, transportation or distribution.
• Experience using SQL for data analysis, extraction, troubleshooting and reporting.
• Experience with current information systems technologies such as client/server, relational databases, web-based systems, and object-oriented design.
