Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Analyst, Strategic Analytics for a leading healthcare client. You will partner with revenue cycle leaders to define KPIs, analyze performance drivers, and translate data into actionable insights that drive financial and operational improvements.

You will own the analytics strategy and build dashboards and self-service reports using Power BI and Databricks, mentoring other analysts in analytical thinking and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BI/analytics experience.
• Advanced Power BI or similar visualization experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with Databricks.
• Experience with ETL, data modeling, data validation, and trusted reporting datasets.
• Strong experience defining KPIs and analyzing trends, variances, root causes, and performance drivers.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders and translating analysis into recommendations.
• Strong communication, data storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to own an analytics portfolio and proactively identify opportunities.

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Analyst, Strategic Analytics for a leading healthcare client. This individual will serve as the dedicated analytics partner for assigned areas of the revenue cycle business, working closely with operational leaders to define KPIs, understand performance drivers, and translate complex data into actionable business insights.

The Lead Analyst will own the analytics strategy and reporting roadmap for their functional areas, including dashboards, reports, data sources, and KPI definitions. This person will conduct hands-on analysis, identify trends and root causes, challenge assumptions, and proactively surface opportunities to improve operational and financial performance. They will also develop self-service analytics and visualizations using Power BI and/or Databricks and mentor other analysts on analytical thinking, visualization, and stakeholder engagement.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field
• Advanced Power BI or comparable data visualization experience
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working across database platforms such as Databricks
• Experience with ETL, data modeling, data validation, and developing trusted reporting datasets
• Strong experience defining KPIs and analyzing trends, variances, root causes, and performance drivers
• Experience directly partnering with operational or business leaders and translating analysis into actionable recommendations
• Strong critical thinking, communication, data storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to independently own an analytics portfolio or functional area and proactively identify opportunities rather than simply responding to reporting requests
• Experience mentoring or training analysts
• Healthcare industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, IT, Information Management, or a related field
• Healthcare revenue cycle analytics or performance improvement experience
• Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows, KPIs, and operational/financial drivers
• Epic revenue cycle data, reporting, or workflow experience
• Experience working in an embedded or dedicated analytics partnership model
• Experience managing and curating a portfolio of dashboards, reports, and data assets
• Power BI or other relevant BI certification
