The Corporate Finance Group (CFG)is hiring an Analyst who will manage a portfolio of high yield corporate credits within the Business and Consumer Services team coverage. This is a high-profile opportunity for someone who is passionate about demonstrating their credit and analytic competence while engaging with C-suite executives and the broader marketplace. The Business and Consumer Services team within CFG covers a portfolio of companies in diverse end markets such as information technology services, business process outsourcing, human resources, data services, consulting, facilities services and other.
- Ensure ratings accuracy for the assigned portfolio through rigorous and timely credit analysis. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant sectors and issuers. Articulate robust credit views and make recommendations to rating committees. React promptly to new developments and market events.
- Build rapport with management teams and the broader marketplace, communicating critical credit views that enhance Moody’s Ratings’ relevance, expand our brand and reputation as a trusted source of credit insight.
- Publish topical, thought-leading, forward-looking, and transparent research reports.
- Collaborate at all levels internally; coach junior associates and develop their credit skills.
- Cultivate relationships with the highest level of professional integrity, transparency, and fairness.

- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant credit and financial analysis experience. Strong analytical ability and technical skills in accounting, financial statement and cash flow-based analysis, capital structures and debt documentation.
- Intellectual curiosity, honesty, thoroughness, sound judgment and ability to work independently and in a team. Able to engage in a free exchange of perspectives in an inclusive and open-minded manner.
- Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and succinctly verbally and in writing.
