Job summary

The University of Washington invites applications for the Associate Vice Chancellor for Alumni Engagement at UW Bothell. This full-time, permanent role provides executive leadership to alumni relations, parent/family engagement, and community partnerships, reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Advancement.

You will lead the Alumni Engagement team, manage budgets, collaborate with UWAA, and develop programs and events to strengthen ties across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in higher education advancement or related field.
• Experience in alumni relations within a college or university setting.
• Ability to develop and execute engagement strategies, programs, and events.
• Strong leadership and budget management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage the Alumni Engagement team, and collaborate with the Vice Chancellor for Advancement.
• Develop and manage the budget for the Alumni Engagement team with discretionary authority.
• Plan and execute programming to support engagement initiatives and priorities.
• Oversee and approve bids and cost estimates; hire contract vendors as appropriate.
• Plan and align alumni engagement activities with UW Bothell and schools.
