Qualifications

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee daily activities for an assigned functional area of Bombardier Business Aircraft Services in collaboration with the supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
  • Document work performed according to manuals and regulations.
  • Comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies.
  • Participate in 5-S activities.
  • Operate ground support equipment as required.
  • Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations and other disciplines as needed.
  • Assist with fuel/de-fuel operations, engine removal/installation, and aircraft component repairs.
  • Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
  • Create service orders using SAP or similar systems.
  • Assist with engine and APU runs as needed.
  • Provide time estimates and support training, coaching, and mentoring of staff.
  • May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) functions if qualified.

Qualifications:

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent, or at least 3 years in a related area with 2 years leadership/supervisory experience (preferably in aircraft maintenance).
  • At least 1 year of corporate aircraft experience.
  • Minimum 1 year Bombardier aircraft model experience (preferred).
  • Engine Run & Taxi qualified on Bombardier aircraft or Delegated Inspector eligible.
  • Demonstrated leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with all systems installations of Bombardier aircraft models.
