flyExclusive is seeking a Lead Paint Technician in Kinston, NC. The role requires advanced knowledge of aircraft paint processes, including prepping, priming, and base coat application, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

You will train team members, coordinate with parts, and maintain a clean, compliant paint shop in a fast-growing aviation environment. The position is full-time, on-site in a hangar setting with overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years corporate jet painting experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• FAA safety/environmental guidelines knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prepping, priming, and base coat application on aircraft.
• Paint, sand, prime, and detail aircraft per manuals.
• Train team members to meet quality and safety standards.
• Schedule with parts to ensure materials are available.
• Maintain clean, organized paint shop and comply with safety rules.
