Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a Paint Technician to join our Kinston, NC operations. The role requires knowledge of the paint process, masking, surface prep, and finishing on corporate jets within a hangar environment.

You will work closely with Lead Painters and maintenance staff to ensure high-quality, durable finishes, while adhering to FAA and company safety standards. Uniforms are provided; relocation assistance and a strong benefits package are available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Possess a valid driver's license and US Passport (preferred).
At least 3–5 years current corporate jet experience painting aircraft or equivalent.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Safety-sensitive FAA-regulated role with pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, including masking, sanding, priming and cleaning.
Mix paints, primers and coatings per specifications and company procedures.
Apply primer, base coats and topcoats with proper spray techniques.
Inspect finished paintwork and rectify defects prior to final inspection.
Operate and maintain paint equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.
Collaborate with Lead Painters and maintenance personnel to meet schedules.
