Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to oversee the OSC Backshops (Storage Crew) and coordinate daily maintenance tasks under the Maintenance Supervisor. The role requires ensuring quality work, timely issue resolution, and adherence to manuals and storage program guidelines.

The candidate should have FAA Airframe experience, a high school diploma, and at least 5 years in aircraft maintenance. Strong English communication is essential for reporting and team leadership.

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and days off.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor for scheduling and assignment of daily jobs.
• Lead and direct subordinate crewmembers in the performance of job tasks; ensure productivity and quality.
• Ensure that identified issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist subordinate crew members with interpreting maintenance manuals and Kalitta Air Storage program.
• Ensure all maintenance by subordinates complies with AMM, SRM, and storage program; proper documentation.
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to subordinate crewmembers.
• Ensure subordinate CBT training is current, including equipment used in their daily routines.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in identifying safety-related deficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
• Generate unscheduled work orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor for the scheduling and assignment of daily jobs.
2. Lead and direct subordinate crewmembers in the performance of job tasks. Ensure that productivity and work quality is satisfactory.
3. Ensure that all identified issues are resolved in a timely manner.
4. Assist subordinate crew members with interpreting maintenance manuals and Kalitta Air Storage program.
5. Ensure that all maintenance performed by subordinate crewmembers is in accordance with AMM, SRM, storage program, ect. Ensure that all maintenance actions performed by subordinate crew members are properly documented.
6. Provide OJT as necessary to subordinate crewmembers.
7. Ensure all subordinate CBT training is current, including equipment used in their daily routines.
8. Assist subordinate crew members in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
9. Assist Maintenance Supervisor in identifying any safety related deficiencies.
10. Any other duties as assigned by the maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager.
11. Generate unscheduled work orders

QUALIFICATIONS:

FAA Airframe license required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate; 5 years min experience in maintenance and repair of commercial category aircraft

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written directions to assigned staff.
