Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced fabrication specialist to build aircraft interior details through final assembly. You will support production, fabricate detailed components, and assemble complex structures using sub-assemblies in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will lead project teams, interpret blueprints, and ensure quality workmanship while following safety guidelines and company standards. Some travel and overtime may be required based on program needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years relevant experience in an aerospace production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and documents to specification.
• Experience with dec-lam, aluminum trims, leather and vinyl finishing would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs general fabrication of aircraft interior detail parts and sub-assemblies.
• Supports production efforts to meet project completion objectives.
• Fabricates components to form assemblies and perform value-added tasks.
• Completes assembly of complex structures using sub-assemblies.
• Operates fabrication machines and equipment.
• Trims and finishes panels and cabinets using aluminum trims, dec-lam, leather and vinyl.
• Leads a team on projects through completion; assists in production planning and layout.
• Interprets complex blueprints and process specs from Greenpoint locations.
• Ensures crew is equipped to perform assignments and mentors less experienced fabricators.
