Job summary

West Star Aviation in East Alton, IL is seeking a Lead Interior Cabinet Technician for the 2nd shift. The role leads modification, repair, refurbishment and fabrication of aircraft cabinets, with independent work and collaboration with the Interior Team Leader.

You will train and mentor team members, perform evaluations, and assist with engineering on major modification projects. A high school diploma and 8+ years in aircraft cabinets are required, along with OSHA/Hazmat awareness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years prior experience in aircraft cabinets.
• Completion of supervisory training classes preferred.
• Ability to lead modifications and installations independently.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cabinet modifications and installations.
• Supervise and assign daily activities.
• Provide training and mentoring to Interior Techs.
• Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations.
• Assist with engineering on design for major modification projects.
• Maintain communication with leadership and teams.
