Job summary

O3XO is seeking a lead LLM/AI engineer to own delivery on client engagements, ship production applications, and drive deployments within client Azure environments. You will work across discovery, design, and production, translating business needs into runnable LLM-powered solutions and measurable outcomes.

You will join a fast-moving team delivering Next.js or Python services, with emphasis on context engineering, evaluation, and enterprise data integrations. Remote with US Eastern overlap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and deploying production software with LLM-powered applications.
• Ability to explain how performance is measured and monitored; prototypes alone don’t count.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a client engagement and communicate tradeoffs to executives.
• Experience with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, agent frameworks, MCP, prompt caching, evaluation design.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery on assigned workstreams, including scope, release timing, and client relationships.
• Lead discovery sessions and translate business needs into prioritized use cases and cost projections.
• Build and ship production LLM applications, typically Next.js full stack or Python services.
• Implement context engineering: retrieval, hybrid/agentic search, prompt caching, tooling integration.
• Develop eval harnesses and define metrics reflecting client workflows.
